How to Apply for Funding

The Kaiser Permanente Central Valley Area Contributions Program responds to requests from organizations that provide services regionally throughout the Central Valley Area and provides Kaiser Permanente the opportunity to collaborate with organizations and agencies that provide direct services and improve the health and well-being of our communities.

Grants

Kaiser Permanente Central Valley Area provides financial support to local nonprofit health and human service organizations with an emphasis on outreach to underserved populations. Organizations who submit programs that meet a prioritized need and incorporate at least one of the funding priorities outlined below, will be considered for funding. Priority will be given to organizations who partner with other agencies to leverage assets with the goal of improving the health of the community.

Grants are limited to organizations that are exempt from taxation under section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code. Kaiser Permanente will not consider funding requests from the following types of organizations or for the following activities/purposes: Religious (for religious purposes), partisan political, fraternal, athletic, international or social organizations, endowments, memorials or individuals, field trips, or tours.

Sponsorships

Kaiser Permanente Central Valley Area partners with community-based organizations on events and activities promoting prevention and wellness, education, economic and workforce development, and corporate and environmental stewardship.
