Kaiser Permanente mobile apps now available

Can your smartphone help you live longer? Maybe. Can it help you live healthier? Definitely. Kaiser Permanente has launched a number of mobile apps over the past two years.
The suite of mobile offerings provides members with access to all of the same time-saving and convenient tools they can use through My Health Manager on kp.org. Members can email their providers, check lab test results, order prescription refills, and manage appointments — all from their handheld devices, when and where they choose.

In 2012, Kaiser Permanente made the largest electronic health record system in the world accessible by smartphone with the launch of its mobile-optimized website, m.kp.org, an Electronic Health Record (EHR) app for Android phones, and an EHR iOS health management app for iPhones.
Available in Northern California, the KP Preventive Care app for iPhone, provides members with important personalized health reminders. Receive alerts when you and your family members are due for routine health screenings, tests, appointment reminders — and if you need to cancel or reschedule.
