D-Xylose Test

1) You must make an appointment at least one day prior to testing for the D-Xylose test. Please call the Hayward or Fremont laboratory.

2) It is important that you do not eat or drink for 12 hours prior to this test. However, water, black coffee or tea without cream or sugar is allowed.

3) You will given a solution of D-Xylose to drink. Your blood sample will be collected one hour later.
