Kaiser Permanente Hires New Public Affairs Director
BY ANTHONYShiyama Clunie has joined Kaiser Permanente as Public Affairs Director for the Napa-Solano Area. In her new role, Shiyama will be responsible for internal and external communications, community and government relations, and community benefit functions within NSA.
She comes to Kaiser Permanente after serving for 16 years in AT&T’s External Affairs department, where she led the North Coast/East Bay Community and Government Affairs team in Napa, Solano, Marin and Sonoma Counties, as well as throughout the East Bay.
“Shiyama has an extensive background in working with city officials, elected officials, residents and internal stakeholders,” said Corwin Harper, Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Kaiser Permanente in the Napa-Solano Area. “She has been a wonderful addition to Kaiser Permanente, and to the community.”
