Kaiser Permanente Supports “Walk with a Supervisor”

Solano County Supervisor Erin Hannigan is taking a creative approach to meeting with her constituents, and Kaiser Permanente is proud to support her efforts!

“Walk with the Supervisor” is held every Friday at 9 a.m. at the Vallejo waterfront, outside the ferry building, and on Friday, December 9, Supervisor Hannigan was joined by Michael Mason, MD, a family medicine and geriatric specialist at Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center.

“Walking is a great way to get outside, meet new people and exercise,” says Dr. Mason. “Staying healthy is important and I look forward to lacing up my walking shoes and helping our community stay fit.”

More than 100 people have participated in the walks, which provide a great way to get exercise and discuss important issues facing the community. Residents are invited to join in every Friday, or call 707-553-5363 for more information.
