Veterans Are The Focus of the North Bay Stand Down
In mid-November, Kaiser Permanente was pleased to once again support the North Bay Stand Down, a resource and support event for homeless veterans in Solano County. The event was held at the Dixon Fairgrounds and served nearly 100 veterans in need of medical, dental, employment and social support.
Chris Walker, MD, physician in chief for the Napa Solano service area and Chris Bandy, MD, Trauma medical director for KP Vacaville, who are both military veterans, spoke at the welcome ceremony, and assured the attendees that helping them get the resources they need is important to Kaiser Permanente.
