Meditation/Prayer Room
Our Meditation/Prayer Room at Oakland Medical Center is used by patients and their family, visitors, and staff as a quiet sanctuary for prayer and meditation.
In our hospital setting, each day has its own stressors and at times can be overwhelming. Our Meditation/Prayer Room (Department 11) is located on the first floor of the hospital, across from the cafeteria, near the W. MacArthur Blvd. entrance and is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to provide a respite when needed. See map.
Please come to the Meditation/Prayer Room
- to have time for quiet reflection, meditation, and prayer
- to record a prayer for yourself or a loved one on the prayer book, the Healing Tree and the Gratitude Wall
- to read the religious texts and pamphlets available for general use
All are welcome to attend!
