Certification and Awards
On July 20, 2017, Kaiser Permanente Sacramento celebrated their First Annual Brainy Award Ceremony to publicly recognize outstanding individual and team achievements in 2016 that supported our Comprehensive Stroke Program initiatives. 2016 was a game-changing year for Sacramento’s stroke program. Last year, Sacramento became one of the first Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the country.
The stroke program also achieved Target Stroke Elite Plus Honor Roll Recognition for the first time, as well as maintained Gold-Plus Status as part of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Get with the Guidelines Quality Initiative program. Leadership of the Comprehensive Stroke Program leadership is thankful for everyone who has gone above and beyond to help elevate stroke care at the Sacramento Medical Center and invites you to next year’s program.
The Stroke Team at our Sacramento Medical Center continues to be recognized for the life-saving work provided to patients by earning the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines ® – Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target: StrokeSM Honor Roll Elite. This is the seventh year in a row that the AHA/ASA had honored our team.
