One of our core values is that of Prevention. Kaiser Permanente has changed the economics of medicine by focusing on keeping our patients healthy, rather than just treating illness. We offer a broad benefits package for a set fee, and encourage our members to seek care before a medical problem becomes serious and costly treatment is necessary.

The Corporate Wellness Program is a program that Kaiser Permanente offers to organizations that employ Kaiser Permanente members, in a effort to better the health and wellness of their employees. The program consists of health screenings and classes held at the workplace, individualized fitness and nutrition programs, and a wide variety of other resources. Some of the on-site classes are weight management, nutrition, and exercise. The health screenings include blood sugar testing, cholesterol testing, and body fat testing.
