Nutrition Counseling

Our registered dietitians can provide nutrition counseling via in-person, telephone, or video appointments, or through email and telephone advice.

Consultations

Your physician may refer you for individual nutrition consultations for medical conditions that require dietary changes. Individual appointments are not available for weight management only. Referral required.

Before meeting with the dietitian for your consultation, it would be helpful if you use this blank food record to write down everything you eat and drink for a three day period. Please bring this record to your appointment, if possible.

Advice

For general, non-urgent questions, members can call our Nutrition Advice Line at (916) 614-4979 to leave a message and receive a call back from a Registered Dietitian within two business days, or email NVnutritionadvice@kp.org. Please be sure to include your Kaiser Permanente medical record number in your phone message or email.
