Patients are seen by referral only from dermatology, plastic surgery, or head and neck surgery. Our team performs a highly specialized form of skin cancer removal called Mohs surgery. Mohs surgery is performed under local anesthesia, with the patient awake and alert, and allows the surgeon to evaluate 100% of the tumor margin at the time of removal. This procedure can be time-consuming; however, it allows for surgical removal of the tumor with the highest rate of cure and lowest risk of recurrence for non-melanoma skin cancers with specific features on certain areas, particularly the face.

Our department consists of board-certified dermatologists, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons, dermatology advance practice nurses, and support staff with experience in handling all problems related to skin cancer. Our team approach will provide you with the best care.
