Post Sleep Study Information

Post Overnight Sleep Study Instructions

Thank you for allowing us to provide you with overnight sleep testing. Now that you have completed this important test, please be aware of the following information, as you wait your test results.

  1. Your testing may take 2 – 3 weeks for completion of scoring and review by our Sleep Medicine physician.
  2. You may be contacted by the Sleep Lab staff, should some additional follow up be necessary. This may include repeat testing, clarification questions, or simply notification that equipment is being ordered for you.
  3. When your study has been completely processed, your referring provider will be sent the results.
  4. Sleep apnea equipment (i.e. CPAP) may be ordered once the Sleep Study has been reviewed. Your coverage will depend on your DME (Durable Medical Equipment) benefits. If equipment is ordered, you will be contacted by the Sleep Lab.
  5. All requests for copies of Sleep Lab reports must be directed to the Medical Secretaries at (916) 525-3125. They are located in Medical Office Building 2, First floor, Suite 126.
