We believe that building a relationship with a Primary Care Physician is an important part of the member’s health care experience. The primary function of Member Outreach is to link all members to their own primary care provider and to welcome and integrate new and returning members to the Medical Center and Health Plan. Member Outreach Representatives answer questions regarding primary and specialty care providers; perform new member orientations; and assist new members in ways to navigate the facility.
Whether you need assistance registering at kp.org, choosing a personal physician, or transferring medical records and prescriptions, member outreach is here for you.
We’re ready with answers on topics such as:
- Registering for a kp.org account
- Choosing your personal physician
- How to transition out of the pediatrics department once you turn 18
- Transferring medical records and prescriptions
- New member orientation
- Facility Tour
Kaiser Permanente’s approach to health care differs a great deal from our competitors. And it has for more than 60 years. We think that traditional health care—simply treating illness—isn’t enough.
We treat the whole person and provide services to help encourage our members’ well-being. By addressing health issues before they become problems, we proactively promote wellness.
We believe that health doesn’t just happen. It’s a partnership. So we encourage our members to get involved and take charge of their wellness. We help them succeed with a range of programs designed to make the most of every aspect of their health.
We stand for total health.
