We are offering a new stroke support group, open to all KP members, their guests, and the public. There is no cost to attend and no registration required. Mental Health Care in San Mateo
To provide you with more convenient mental health and wellness care, our San Mateo location offers a wide range of mental health and wellness services, including adult, child, and family services.
As part of our recent expansion, your mental health provider may be have moved to the new location. If so, you received a personal letter in the mail. Your mental health provider looks forward to continuing your care at the new location. However, if you prefer to receive care at our Redwood City location, you can choose a mental health provider there.
This new location is 2.2 miles from our San Mateo Medical Offices and 9.8 miles from our Redwood City Medical Center. It is also located near public transportation just off El Camino Real. * If you get care at a MinuteClinic or any other urgent care facility within a state where Kaiser Permanente operates, you’ll be asked to pay upfront for services you receive and then file a claim for reimbursement.
** If you get care at a MinuteClinic outside of state where Kaiser Permanente operates, you’ll be charged your standard co-pay or coinsurance. With the exception of Medicaid and released from regions outside California, all members are eligible.
*** You may be covered for medically necessary urgent care when you were outside the country if The care can’t be delayed until you get back home. Medi-Cal members in northern and southern California are only covered for emergency services requiring hospitalization in Canada or Mexico. Medicaid members are not covered outside the United States.
