Kaiser Permanente’s Occupational Health provides comprehensive, high quality Workers’ Compensation related injury and illness care. In addition, we offer a wide range of other employment related medical services, or Occupational Health and Safety services, which include audiometry, spirometry, preplacement evaluations and commercial driver’s license examinations.

Our Occupational Health Clinic is staffed with physicians who are Board certified in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine. We also have on staff an Occupational Health Nurse Case Manager and onsite Physical Therapy services. Our dedicated staff in the Occupational Health Department looks forward to providing you with the quality care and service you deserve to assist in the recovery from your injury.

Should you be directed to our clinic for care, we provide one-to-one medical management, physical therapy, and case management services, to assist you with your Workers’ Compensation claim. The goal of our treatment program is to help the patient regain their highest level of functioning following an injury or illness. We work very closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and other medical specialists, including orthopedists and neurologists, to develop an individualized treatment program for our patients.

We are committed to providing the highest quality compassionate care to all of our customers. We welcome any comments or suggestions that you may have about our services.

How to Get Care

All injured workers, including Kaiser Permanente Health Plan members and non-members, are eligible to use our services under their employer’s Workers’ Compensation insurance program unless their employer has designated another medical provider.

If you are seeking care for a work-related injury, please first check with your employer representative to verify that Kaiser Permanente is an approved medical provider for your company’s industrial injury care. You may have personal health insurance coverage with Kaiser Permanente but you may not necessarily have authorization to be treated at Kaiser for a work-related injury. The important difference is that your benefits under the Workers Compensation system covers your work-related injuries but your personal health insurance plan typically does not. Of course, if you are experiencing an emergency, then you should seek treatment at the nearest hospital or Emergency Department.
