The Multi-Specialty Transitions (MST) Department at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center is deeply committed to providing equitable, compassionate and high-quality medical care to our transgender youth, adults, and families.
Our specialist team consists of clinicians from surgery, internal medicine, gynecology, mental health, social work, and nursing, who work together to provide comprehensive healthcare for Kaiser Permanente members needing gender-affirming health care services, including hormone consultations, surgical evaluations, psychological services, and gynecologic care.
Our department, located at the Oakland Medical Center, serves as a resource for Kaiser Permanente members locally, regionally and nationally. We are proud to partner with our transgender members to provide affirming health care services for the transgender and gender non-conforming communities.
