Here you will find valuable information you’ll need to prepare for your hospital stay, or to contact a patient.

Visiting a Patient

Kaiser Permanente San Jose has established daily visiting hours and rules to ensure the comfort and safety of your friend and loved one, as well as for other patients in the medical center. The staff welcomes visitors because they play a very important role in a patients’ recovery. We ask that all visitors adhere to the visiting policy so that we can continue to provide an environment that contributes to a speedy recovery for your loved one or friend.

Patients can designate visitors of their choosing, whether or not the visitor is related by blood or marriage. Visitation will not be prohibited or restricted solely based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

When you arrive at our facility to visit your loved one or friend, please stop by the Information Desk located at the main hospital entrance on the first floor. Our volunteers will gladly assist you.
