Positive Parenting

This class provides an overview of positive discipline techniques and offers effective strategies for managing challenging behaviors in a calm and consistent manner, based on proven approaches from Love and Logic, Temperament Tools, and 1, 2, 3 Magic. For parents of children 2 to 6. An individual follow-up appointment can be scheduled with a Health Educator after attending the class.

Feeding Your Young Child

This class supports parents in helping their children ages 1 to 5 develop healthy eating habits while reducing power struggles.

Parenting the Anxious Child

Parents and children ages 6 and up will learn how they can help their child manage worries and fears.

Puberty For Girls!

In a safe setting, learn about the physical and emotional changes that a girl goes through during puberty. This class is for girls 8 to 12 and their parents.

Parenting a Child with ADHD

This class helps parents of children ages 6 and up learn strategies to improve the child’s ability to succeed in school and strengthen parent-child relationships.

Individual Appointments

Parenting Education
Health Educators provide individual support and education for parents of babies and children ages 1-5 on common concerns including sleep, feeding, temperament, discipline and potty-training.

Healthy Lifestyle
Health Educators help families with children ages 6-12 and teens develop lifestyle goals and action plans. Topics include eating habits, physical activity, and healthy living strategies to support health.

Nutrition Consultation
Registered Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy for families for children and teens. Topics include proper growth, weight management, anemia, food allergies, diabetes, high cholesterol, and eating disorders. A doctor’s referral is needed for this appointment.

All these appointments are a covered benefit for members.

Appointments available over telephone, video, or in-person. Interpretation services are available upon request.
