Kaiser Permanente in the Community
At Kaiser Permanente our mission has not changed in over 70 years: to improve the health of our members and the communities we serve.
As part of our social mission, Kaiser Permanente continuously monitors the needs of our communities and finds innovative ways to pair financial support with other resources to improve community health. We share successful clinical practices, business and organizational expertise, findings from studies conducted by our own Department of Research, and the passion of our physicians, care teams and employees.
We work with and support programs and services ranging from community clinics and schools to family justice centers. In addition, we provided a health insurance plan designed specifically for children who don’t qualify for government programs such as Medicare. We believe this unique approach allows us to make a deeper and lasting difference in the communities we serve.
