Run Clinic
If you are a runner looking for ways to cure those nagging injuries, or you want to improve your running performance to achieve higher goals, the Run Clinic at Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco is here to help you.
The Run Clinic is ideal for members who are currently running and having only mild aches or pains. More severe pains or injuries should be evaluated and diagnosed by your doctor.
What is the Run Clinic?
The Run Clinic at Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco is a physical and visual assessment for beginning to competitive runners. A Sports Physical Therapist will perform a one-on-one assessment that takes about one hour.
What information will be provided?
After your physical examination the Physical Therapist will give you a report on your flexibility and lower extremity and core strength. The Physical Therapist will also make specific exercise recommendations to improve your problem areas. Video analysis will be performed while running on treadmill and you will receive recommendations on how to improve your running form and efficiency.
When is it offered?
The Run Clinic is offered on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

How do I sign up for the Run Clinic?
Call the Health Education Departments at either Daly City (650) 301-4445 or South San Francisco (650) 742-2439 to sign up for your running assessment.
The Run Clinic is offered only to Kaiser Permanente Health Plan Members at a cost of $99
What do I bring/wear to the Run Clinic?
Running shorts, a sports bra, and your running shoes.
