If you have friends or family who need health care coverage, tell them that their chance is coming soon, with the open enrollment period under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
What is open enrollment?
Annual enrollment period begins on November 15, 2014, and ends on February 15, 2015. It’s the period when you can enroll in health plans through your state’s Health Insurance Marketplace or through Kaiser Permanente.
Who is this for?
Anyone who doesn’t have health care coverage and is eligible. Starting November 15, 2014, friends or family can shop for a 2015 Kaiser Permanente plan that’s right for them:
- by visiting buykp.org
- by calling one of our agents at 1-800-394-9582
- by visiting your state’s Health Insurance Marketplace
Is there financial help?
Yes, for those who qualify. Before November 15, 2014, people can use our financial calculator on buykp.org to help determine if they may qualify for federal financial assistance under ACA. They can also use the calculator on their state’s Health Insurance Marketplace.
