Classes

A breastfeeding class is just one of our many classes offered to our members.

Baby & Me Support Group

This twice weekly drop-in support group is designed to provide information and support for new parents. Bring your baby and discuss breastfeeding, sleeping, crying, adjusting to parenthood and more! Some sessions feature physicians and/or guest speakers from the community. A lactation educator is available to assist with general breastfeeding questions and concerns. This group does not meet on holidays.

For more information, view our Baby & Me Support Group flyer.

Postpartum Emotional Health Support Series

Feeling blue or stressed during or following a pregnancy is common and does not create serious problems.  However, 15 – 20% of women experience something more called Postpartum Depression.  Symptoms of PPD may include

  • Constant worry
  • Changes in sleeping and eating
  • Low mood and fatigue
  • Feelings of being overwhelmed
  • Low self esteem
  • Feelings of isolation
  • Feelings of guilt

Discuss this at your first Well Baby check-up, or with your Ob-Gyn practitioner.

Sessions: Weekly Drop-in Support Group, every Friday 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Information: Call 408-972-3095
