Our Genetic Counselors
Jennifer Hull, MS, LCGC
My Background
I grew up in San Diego, California and taught biology before attending graduate school for genetic counseling. While teaching, I enjoyed working in a team-taught, interdisciplinary environment and developed an appreciation for drawing connections between scientific fields. I enjoy applying these skills to genetics, where making connections between specialties can help us more fully understand our patients.
Education & Experience
I completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in biology at UC San Diego. While there, I enjoyed molecular biology research and working as a teaching assistant for genetics, physiology, and biochemical techniques. My love of genetics naturally transitioned into pursuing a degree in genetic counseling, and I have enjoyed applying my teaching background to reviewing genetic concepts with patients.
About My Practice
I enjoy working in prenatal and pediatric specialties. I admire my colleagues’ dedication to providing quality care to all patients. In genetics, it is so important to work together and collaborate on cases. I feel fortunate to be part of such a strong team of providers.
How I Thrive
I enjoy riding my bike, listening to podcasts, and spending time at the beach.
