Volunteer services

The mission of the Volunteer Services Department is to provide quality support services to our members, visitors, and staff in the Kaiser Permanente Panorama City service area, and to our local communities.

Our volunteers represent the culturally diverse community which forms our customer service area. Volunteers can be high school and college students, as well as members of our senior community. High school students must be at least in the 10th grade to volunteer and adhere to a strict 150-hour volunteer commitment.

Many volunteers are Kaiser Permanente members, and all share a strong desire to help and a willingness to serve where they are most needed.

Volunteers are selected, placed, and trained based on their skills, abilities, and service orientation without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, or medical condition.

Applications to be a Kaiser Permanente volunteer will be accepted in the first week of March and the first week of September.
