Urgent care
If you are sick or injured, you may have an urgent care need. An urgent care need is one that requires prompt medical attention but is not an emergency medical condition.
Urgent care may be right for sore throat and upper respiratory symptoms, earaches, coughs, backaches, headaches/migraines, and bladder infections/urinary tract infections. Urgent care is not intended to be an after-hours primary care service.
You do not need an appointment to visit an urgent care facility.
If you have any questions about the type of care that is appropriate for your symptoms/conditions,
call 1-833-KP4CARE (1-833-574-2273).
If you are temporarily outside of the Kaiser Permanente service area and have an urgent care need due to an unforeseen illness, injury, or complication of an existing condition (including pregnancy), we cover the medically necessary services you receive from a non-Plan provider if you reasonably believed that your (or your unborn child’s) health would seriously worsen if you delayed treatment until you returned to our service area.
