Call for health: Wellness coaching
Small changes add up to big results
We all want to feel good, be well, and have more energy. But sometimes making changes can be harder than it seems. How about some help? A wellness coach is specially trained to help people who want to make a healthy change.
“Whether you want to eat better, quit smoking, manage your weight, reduce stress, or exercise more,” says Lynn Hackstaff, PhD, clinical manager of Southern California’s Kaiser Permanente’s Wellness Coaching Service, “our telephone coaches can help you understand your readiness to change and the obstacles you face. Coaches can help you find ways to overcome barriers that have kept you from succeeding in the past.”
Your wellness coach can help you address behaviors that undermine your best intentions and help you gain the confidence you need to successfully achieve your goals. Telephone wellness coaching is offered at no cost to Kaiser Permanente members.
And for more motivation, members can try one of our online healthy lifestyle programs. Whether you want to lose weight, eat healthy, or reduce stress, the programs include a personalized plan to help you reach your goals and tools to track and monitor your progress.
