When you’re sick or injured, you may have an urgent care need—one that requires prompt medical attention, but is not an emergency medical condition.* Scheduled to begin on January 4, 2016, our Lancaster Medical Offices Urgent Care will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week, including holidays.

Examples of urgent care include:

  • Minor injuries, including sprains and falls
  • Minor wounds and cuts needing stitches
  • Backaches
  • Chronic migraine or other recurring headaches
  • Fever
  • Mild breathing issues

If you’re not sure what kind of care you need, our advice nurses can direct you to the most appropriate place for treatment and provide advice.

To contact an advice nurse or schedule a same-day appointment, call 1-877-554-4404. For after-hours advice, call 1-888-576-6225, or for TTY for the hearing/speech impaired, call 711.

*If you reasonably believe you have an emergency medical condition, which is a medical or psychiatric condition that requires immediate medical attention to prevent serious jeopardy to your health, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For the complete definition of an emergency medical condition, please refer to your Evidence of Coverage.
