Meet the new president of Kaiser Permanente Colorado
It’s hard to beat summer in the Rockies, but here we are halfway through the year.
My name is Roland Lyon and I am the new president of Kaiser Permanente Colorado. This outreach to you is one way we connect with our members and deliver on our mission to provide high-quality, affordable health care services to improve the health of our members and the communities we serve.
For those of you new to our health plan, I want to share that I understand any hesitation you may have had in joining us. While I’ve been at Kaiser Permanente more than 14 years, when I first started, the first question I received came from my wife who didn’t want to leave her and our kids’ doctors was, “Do we need to take their insurance?” Indeed, we did. I was quite happy to hear her express a few months later, “How did we ever live without Kaiser?”
I hope whether you joined us this year or have been with us for decades, we have become your trusted health partner, that the way we provide services makes our care convenient, and that you have the access you need to the doctors you choose to see.
I also want to publicly thank and congratulate my predecessor, Donna Lynne, who is now Colorado’s Lieutenant Governor.
