Save time with your digital membership card in Colorado
Managing your health care just got easier with the digital membership card, which you can find on the Kaiser Permanente app. It keeps all your membership information right on your phone, so you won’t have to dig through your bag or wallet for a card when you need it.
You can even include a photo and use your card as your valid picture ID for check-ins and prescription pick-ups. Just have your photo taken at your next appointment, and the receptionist will upload the image to your file.1 (Note: Not all departments are equipped to take photos, so make sure to ask.)
The advantages of a digital membership card
Your digital membership card lets you check in for appointments, pick up prescriptions, and provide membership information directly from your smartphone.2 You can also access the digital cards of your dependents, or anyone else whose care you’re responsible for. This means fewer physical cards to keep track of and a reduced risk of losing important information.
Start using your digital card today
To use your digital membership card, open the latest version of the KP mobile app and sign on using your kp.org user name and password. Then tap the “Member ID card” icon at the bottom of your screen.
This digital card doesn’t fully replace your physical card, so hang on to it. You still may need it for your records, to check in at certain locations, or if your phone is lost or stolen.
