The San Francisco Genetics Department is one of six sub-Regional Genetics departments that comprise the Northern California Regional Genetics Program.

The San Francisco Genetics Department provides a full range of genetic services to KP Health Plan members from Daly City to Sonoma County. Our main office is located in San Francisco. We also provide limited on-site services in Daly City, Petaluma, San Rafael, and Santa Rosa.

We specialize in counseling, diagnosis and management of genetically-influenced conditions. Our clinical services include prenatal counseling and diagnosis, neonatal genetics consultation services, pediatric and adult genetic counseling and evaluation, hereditary cancer risk evaluation, and genetic screening.
