Electrocardiography (EKG)

The Electrocardiography Department better known as the EKG department provides several cardiac lab services. The most common procedure is an EKG which is a non-invasive test that checks for problems with the electrical activity of your heart. Along with EKGs the department also places heart monitors that continuously records the heart’s rhythm over a 24 hour period. Treadmills are also performed in the EKG Department. The EKG team consists of Board-Certified Cardiologists, Nurse Practitioners and specially trained EKG Technicians.
