Oncology

Welcome to Hematology/Oncology, a subspecialty within the Department of Medicine. The Hematology/Oncology Department offers specialty care for patients with blood disorders and cancer. We are committed to providing you with compassionate care of the highest quality.

Our oncologists are fully board certified and have the training and experience to care for a wide range of conditions. We work in collaboration with other medical center experts, including surgeons and radiologists, as well as specially trained nurses, medical assistants and social workers.

Nurses in our department provide outpatient chemotherapy under the direction of an oncologist. Social workers are available to provide resource and referral information. We also offer support groups and special programs for cancer patients.
