Pediatrics

Welcome to the Department of Pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco!

Within the department, there are pediatric generalists and pediatric sub-specialists. The team also includes social workers, physical therapist, speech therapist, health educator, asthma case manager, nurses, and medical assistants.

We encourage you to select a personal physician or nurse practitioner for your child. The physician or nurse practitioner will coordinate your child’s medical care while working closely with other members of the department, including an asthma nurse and a clinical health educator. Referrals to specialists are coordinated through your child’s personal physician or nurse practitioner.
