This is a special time for you and your family. As our guest you have access to a range of caregivers, whose expertise can help to prepare you for the joys and challenges of parenthood, including:

  • Anesthesiologists
  • Respiratory Care Technicians
  • Pediatricians
  • Social Workers
  • Lactation Consultants
  • Residents
  • Interns

Above all your labor and delivery experience will be safe. As a Level IIIc referral center for high-risk obstetrics, we’re ready to respond to the highest level of Obstetrical and Neonatal Care needed by our members. The emphasis of our care is to provide comfort management, psychosocial support, patient safety, medication administration, critical episode management, infection control, and correction of knowledge deficits.

In addition to high-quality care, you can expect our caregivers to make your Labor and Delivery visit as comfortable as possible. The advanced technologies in each room complement the comforts of home, including natural lighting as well as dim lights, a birthing bed you can position to suit your taste, a TV, sofa-bed for your partner, and more. Your private room will also include art, soothing natural tones, and a reliance on warm colors. Take our virtual tour to explore our labor and delivery areas and rooms or call 323-783-4472 to schedule an appointment to visit in person.

When you think it is time for your baby to arrive

Come to the Hospital Main Entrance located at 4867 Sunset Boulevard. After you pull into the main driveway, park in the loading area. A staff member will assist you by helping mom into a wheelchair and valet parking your car in the 1549 Edgemont Street Parking Structure. Both of you will be taken up to Labor and Delivery on the 4th floor of the Hospital. You will be given a ticket to pick up your keys. Your keys and parking entrance ticket will be at the desk in the main lobby of the hospital when you are ready to pick up your car.
