Colorado Food Assistance

The Colorado Food Assistance Program, Colorado’s name for the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), provides food benefits, access to a healthy diet, and education on food preparation and nutrition to those who qualify. Colorado Food Assistance recipients receive a card that is used like an ATM card to buy eligible food in authorized retail food stores. If you are finding it difficult to afford to feed yourself or your family, Colorado Food Assistance may be able to help.


Colorado Works

Colorado Works, Colorado’s name for the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, provides cash assistance to eligible families. This immediate short-term help may be used for housing, food, utilities, clothing, or medical care.
