Early Warning Signs of Asthma
Breathing problems like wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and “not being able to get enough air into your lungs” are called symptoms of asthma. Different people have different symptoms and it is important to learn what your symptoms are.
A group of symptoms may happen when you start having trouble breathing or happen a long time before you start having breathing problems.

- Decrease in peak flow reading
- Feeling nervous, irritable, cranky
- Feeling spacey

- Not sleeping well

- Feeling weak, low energy level

- Stomachache/nausea/loss of appetite
- Raised shoulders/slouching
- Clammy skin/paleness
- Dark color under eyes
