Baby Sign Language

Kaiser Permanente photo of mom holding child

Baby Sign Language teaches parents to communicate with babies long before they can say their wants and needs. It can also help strengthen the bonds between parent and child, boost early language skills, and reduce frustration.

Introductory Workshop

In this single-session workshop, you will be introduced to more than 20 signs that are based on American Sign Language (ASL). You will learn about the latest research and all the tools to teach your baby to sign. Fun activities and songs will show you how easy it can be to integrate simple signs into your everyday routine.
