Adult Comprehensive Cardiac Care
LAMC offers procedures that cover a range of cardiac needs. Strategic design has aligned Operating Rooms, Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs, Imaging, and Post-Op to get patients seen and cared for quickly.

Bone Marrow Transplant
Our Bone Marrow Transplant team will support and care for you at every stage of treatment, from assessment and evaluation to the actual transplant and follow-up care with other Kaiser Permanente specialists.

Breast Imaging
Breast Imaging services are most often used to screen for breast cancer, to examine breast symptoms such as a lump or pain, or who have a suspicious change seen on a screening mammogram.

Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Our Cardiac Catheterization Lab is a regional center, performing more than 8,000 diagnostic and interventional procedures on adults and children every year.

Cardiac Surgery
Made up of surgeons, cardiac intensivists, physician assistants, registered nurse practitioners, and perfusionists, our Cardiac Surgery team provides care for members in Southern California and as far away as Hawaii and Oregon.

Chronic Pain Management (intensive)
LAMC’s Pain Management Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to treating pain with a staff that includes Board certified Pain Specialists, Pain Psychology, Pharmacy, Nurses, and Physical Therapists.

Complex Spine Surgery
Treatment for degenerative spine disease, spine tumors, infections, spine fractures, and more which can greatly improve your quality of life.

Complex Pediatric Surgery
LAMC has a number of neonatal, ICU, and general pediatric beds, making us the second largest “children’s hospital” in Los Angeles.

Comprehensive Sleep Disorder Services
We have a strong program in the clinical study and treatment of sleep apnea and other sleep-related disorders.

Cytogenetic Laboratories
Committed to studying the structure and function of cells, especially chromosomes, that can play a major role in genetic disease.

Dermatology/Vascular Birthmark Clinic
Specialized care for birthmarks that may include observation, medication, surgical removal, reconstructive surgery, laser therapy, sclerotherapy (treatment of vein disorders), and embolization (blocking blood flow near lesions).

Electrophysiology
Advanced technology is used to help determine the cause of your condition and provide appropriate treatment to help get your heartbeat back on track.

Genetic Counseling Services
Genetic counseling can help individuals and families cope with the emotional, psychological, medical, and social consequences of genetic disease and/or genetic testing.

Graduate Medical Education Program
LAMC is a place for doctors to grow and expand their knowledge. More than 200 interns from top medical schools work here. Programs include the Graduate Medical Training Program, Continuing Education, Leadership and Development, and much more.

Head and Neck Surgery
LAMC’s comprehensive approach to the complex treatment of head and neck conditions relies on the expertise and talents of a multidisciplinary team of specialists.

Hematology Oncology
Our Hematology/Oncology Department provides two services: cancer treatment using chemotherapy and other medications, and the treatment of other, non-cancer-related blood disorders.

High-Risk Obstetric Care
Whether your risk is during the term of your pregnancy, during labor and delivery, or during the post-partum period, our specialists care provide comprehensive assessment and therapy for high-risk pregnancies.

Inpatient Mental Health
Offering comprehensive mental health treatment in an appropriate therapeutic environment.

Interventional Cardiology
Covering specifically with the catheter based treatment of structural heart diseases, a large number of procedures can be performed on the heart by catheterization.

Interventional Neuroradiology
LAMC is a large regional referral center for endovascular neurointerventions, vascular interventions, and minimally invasive cancer therapy.

LGBT Care
Physicians understand and are prepared to meet the needs of our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender patients.

Maxillofacial Surgery
Our experienced, knowledgeable physicians have trained not only in medicine and surgery, but also in dentistry.

Minimally Invasive Surgery
Using advanced medical technologies to minimize both the impact of surgery and time spent in the hospital.

Neonatal Intensive Care Units
In our level IIIc Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a team of specialty physicians known as neonatologists provides care for infants who need monitoring and medical attention for many types of problems, including those with heart conditions and those who need surgery.

Neuro-Oncology
Our Neuro-Oncology Program provides specialized treatment for brain and spinal cord tumors. You’ll meet with neuro-oncologists, who will develop a treatment plan for your cancer and work closely with your personal physician and other specialists.

Neurosurgery
Our Neurosurgery Department is one of the nation’s busiest neurosurgical centers and serves members from all over Southern California who have brain tumors, spinal disorders, vascular malformations, and movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease.

Organ Transplant, Regional Hub
Organ transplantation can be a complex and challenging procedure. However, we manage hundreds of patients who have undergone a wide variety of successful organ transplants, such as heart, liver, and lung transplants.

Pediatric Anesthesiology
Physical differences between children and adults also often require different equipment, different dosages and different techniques. Our specialists understand the heightened physical sensitivity of children.

Pediatric Cardiac Surgery
Specialists collaborate on a weekly basis to discuss specific cases and treatments to ensure best practices are used to optimize outcomes.

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Our PICU provides care to critically ill children—from infancy to age 16—from all over Southern California, and is supported by a team of specialty physicians and 38 pediatric critical care registered nurses working around the clock, seven days a week.

Pediatrics Specialty Care (Cardiology, Endo, GI)
Caring for an ill or injured child goes on around the clock. Families can use a room equipped with a bed and shower especially for them so they can rest and refresh without having to leave the hospital.

Pediatric Oncology, Regional Research Hub
LAMC’s regional pediatric oncology clinical trials program manages more than 50 clinical therapeutic trials, as well as 10 non-therapeutic trials, including studies defining the late effects of cancer treatment, tumor biology, and banking.

Pediatric Surgery (noncardiac)
We care for children of all ages, from premature newborns to 18-year-olds, and we work closely with your family pediatrician or primary care physician to coordinate a smooth transition of care.

Radiation Oncology
Using advanced equipment for diagnosis, planning, and treatment, highly knowledgeable and experienced, physicians, radiation therapists, nurses, and other trained health care professionals will develop a customized treatment plan for your cancer.

Spine Surgery
Our Spine Surgery Department provides consultation and treatment for disorders of all areas of the spine—whether cervical, thoracic, and lumbar. Our surgeons are skilled in treating disorders such as degenerative conditions, scoliosis and other deformities, trauma, and tumors.

Surgery for Movement Disorders
LAMC is home to the Movement Disorder Surgery Program. Members with Parkinson ‘s disease, Tremor, and certain types of Dystonia are assessed for Deep Brain Stimulation by both a Neurologist and Neurosurgeon.

Surgical Oncology
Our surgeons are trained and experienced in highly specialized procedures for a variety of cancers, including cancers of the breast, colon, lung, skin, pancreas, and upper gastrointestinal tract, among others.

Stroke Care Program
Comprehensive and coordinated care to quickly identify stroke-related symptoms and quickly respond to them.

Urological and Gynecological Oncology
Our surgeons treat prostate cancer with advanced technology that may reduce side effects, including nerve-sparing radical prostatectomies, laparoscopic prostatectomies, and cryosurgery.

The Center of Excellence in Culturally Competent Care in Armenian Health, Glendale, CA
The Center has developed key initiatives in health equity focused on translation, colorectal, cancer screenings, and ethnicity data collection efforts.
